WILDGIF

DMCA Notice & Takedown Policy

1. PURPOSE AND SCOPE
WildGIF (wildgif.com) is an adult-oriented directory that provides links, thumbnails and embedded players for media made available by third parties, including RedGIFs. We respect copyrights and other intellectual-property rights, and we review properly submitted complaints about material linked or displayed on WildGIF. This policy explains how to report alleged copyright infringement affecting a page on our service. Removing a listing from WildGIF does not remove a media file hosted by another company.

2. WHERE TO SEND A COPYRIGHT NOTICE
Send copyright notices and supporting information to [email protected]. For non-copyright safety concerns, account questions and general requests, use [email protected] or the Report feature on the affected video page. Please use a clear subject such as "Copyright notice – WildGIF page URL" and include the actual WildGIF page links. These are contact addresses for receiving complaints; they do not by themselves establish a registered statutory designated agent.

3. INFORMATION REQUIRED IN A COPYRIGHT NOTICE
To help identify and assess a claim under 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3) when applicable, include: (a) your physical or electronic signature, or that of the person authorized to act for the copyright owner; (b) identification of the protected work you believe has been infringed, or a representative list if multiple works are concerned; (c) exact URLs of the allegedly infringing WildGIF pages and information sufficient for us to locate the listing; (d) your full name and reasonably sufficient contact information, including your email address and, where required, mailing address or phone number; (e) a statement that you believe in good faith that the disputed use is not authorized by the owner, its agent, or the law; and (f) a statement that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the rightsholder or authorized to act for them, under penalty of perjury where required by law.

4. REVIEW AND RESTRICTION OF REPORTED MATERIAL
Upon receiving a sufficiently detailed notice, WildGIF may investigate the listing, request clarification, disable a page, restrict an embed, remove associated metadata or blacklist the media ID against future imports. We may preserve records needed to administer the complaint or comply with applicable law. We will aim to respond without undue delay, but we cannot promise a specific processing time. If the complaint concerns content hosted by RedGIFs or another third party, you may also need to notify that hosting provider directly.

5. COUNTER-NOTIFICATION
If you believe a listing was removed due to a mistake or misidentification, you may email [email protected] with the subject "Counter-notification". Where 17 U.S.C. § 512(g) applies, include: (a) a signature; (b) sufficient identification of the material and the URL where it appeared before removal; (c) a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the removal resulted from mistake or misidentification; (d) your name, physical address, phone number and email; and (e) the appropriate consent to jurisdiction of a United States federal district court and acceptance of service of process from the original complainant or their agent, as prescribed by applicable law. Do not submit a counter-notice unless you understand its legal implications.

6. WHAT HAPPENS AFTER A VALID COUNTER-NOTICE
Where the US DMCA counter-notice rules apply, a valid counter-notice may be forwarded to the original claimant. Subject to those rules, access may be restored no sooner than 10 and no later than 14 business days after receipt, unless a qualifying notice of a court action is received. Restoration is never guaranteed where other legal, contractual, safety or platform restrictions apply. We may decline to restore material if it independently violates site policies or applicable law.

7. REPEATED INFRINGEMENT AND OTHER ABUSE
Where applicable, we maintain procedures to address repeated copyright infringement and may restrict listings or access involving recurrent substantiated violations. Knowingly false statements in a notice or counter-notice can have legal consequences, including under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f). Please do not use copyright claims to pursue unrelated disagreements, impersonate a rights holder or disclose unnecessary sensitive personal information.

8. CONTENT INVOLVING PERSONAL SAFETY OR PRIVACY
Copyright is not the only basis for a removal request. To report non-consensual intimate material, exploitation, suspected child sexual abuse material, impersonation or a serious privacy concern, use the video-page Report control or contact [email protected]. Include the page URL and a clear explanation without attaching illegal or sensitive media. We may immediately restrict a listing pending review, and where necessary cooperate with competent authorities.

9. THIRD-PARTY HOSTS AND SERVICE PROVIDERS
A WildGIF listing may contain content and data originating from another publisher or service provider. A complaint submitted to us concerns visibility on WildGIF only. We do not control how external providers store, publish, license or take down their own media. For removal at the source, consult the provider's own rights-reporting process. WildGIF does not claim to own the underlying video merely because it appears in an embed.

10. POLICY UPDATES AND CONTACT
We may revise these procedures to reflect changes in law, platform practices or site functionality. The current version will be displayed on this page. Copyright correspondence: [email protected]. General correspondence: [email protected].
